OZONE HOUR FEATURED

CLEVELAND BALLET'S final performing series of the 1977-78 season will open Friday April 7 at the Hanna Theatre with the world premiere of the rock ballet "OZONE HOUR."

"OZONE HOUR," choreographed by Artistic Director lan Horvath to an original, commissioned score by prizewinning Richard Henrickson, is a retrospective view of the rock phenomenon from early Chuck Berry rhythm and blues, to Bob Dylan's folk rock movement, to the music of Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix, through the British influence of the Rolling Stones, the glittering flamboyance of David Bowie, and the theatricality of Alice Cooper and Kiss.

NEW YORK, The United States Navy recently issued a new regulation liberalizing their policy on homosexuality. The regulation, 1900.9C, states that discharge from the Navy of those who enage in homosexual acts is customary rather than essential.

Earlier regulations referred to gays as persons "who cannot be tolerated in a military organization." Under the new regulation, Navy men accused of homosexual acts may have their cases reviewed by the Secretary of the Navy before being discharged, a privilege previously granted only to officers.

Three virgins representing greed, lust, and virtue meet a devil on their way to church. They succumb to his temptation, though not without a struggle. Comedy dance at its best! Dennis Nahat re-creates his American Ballet Theatre role as the Devil.

You've got to see it. "The Ozone Hour," that is. All perforImances of this exciting ballet have been sold out this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The ballet has decided to add a matinee performance this Sunday, April 16th at 3:00 p.m. Two other ballets, "Sometimes" and "Laura's Women" will be performed that afternoon. Now, Mansfield area gays will no longer need to call long distance to a service center. This is a long-needed service and represents a most welcome addition.

Executive Committee. Silber stated that there is a good chance such a resolution will be passed next fall. He further noted that his appointment was a step in the right direction for the gay community of Broward County, which is the second most populous county in Florida (approx. 1 million people).
